M4C at Sustainability Live 2013
April 2013
We've just returned from another great year exhibiting at SustainabilityLive!
at the NEC in Birmingham. This 3 day show showcases all the latest
products, services and solutions linked with the energy, water and
waste industries - as well as a section on Sustainable Business -
which is where M4C were located.
We made some great contacts during the show - and yet again we wowed
our visitors with Ann's home-made elderflower cordial - with this
year's added twist in the form of Rachel's home-made ginger biscuits.
In fact, the cordial was so popular we had people queuing up at the
end of the show to try and buy a leftover bottle. So if all else fails
- a future in the cordial making industry beckons!
Although the show seemed quiet at times, we were pleasantly surprised
by the quality of visitors - and we feel encouraged that there are
still plenty of companies out there that will most certainly benefit
from our help and expertise.
During the show, Ann also presented on 'Energy savings through behavioural
change' alongside world-leading sustainability and environmental expert
Tony Juniper.

M4C's Ann Durrant Speaking at Sustainability Live 2013
April 2013
Ann Durrant, M4C's Managing Director will be speaking at this years
Sustainability Live. The show, which runs from 16th-18th April at
Birminghams NEC, has a packed seminar schedule focusing on sustainable
business management. Ann's session, entitled 'Energy Savings Through
Behaviour Change' can be seen on Wednesday 17th April at 10.15am in
Energy Theatre Two.
A positive energy culture within an organisation is just as, if not
more, important than energy efficient technologies. It is only through
engaging the people within your organisation that you will bring around
real energy savings that make a difference both financially and environmentally.
This requires changes in people's attitudes and behaviour. Ann will
be discussing the techniques involved in creating a positive energy
culture within organisations and looking at a behavioural approach
to culture change with tips to identify triggers and incentives that
will aid a behaviour change process within your business.
This session is aimed at Sustainability/corporate responsibility
managers, Energy managers and Energy champions, who will leave armed
with practical tips and techniques to create a positive energy culture
in their business.
If you would like tickets for the exhibition, please contact
us before Friday 12th April.

April 2013

worth sharing. In December 2012 Provident received the 'Tax Reporting

Trust Awards. The award recognises the transparency of Provident's
approach to disclosing information on its tax strategy, tax performance
and the wider impact of tax. The award was based on information provided
via their 2011 CR report - which M4C produced.
